We ask for your email so we can tell you when Oath launches. That is the whole of it.
这个页面目前只有英文。如果你需要你的语言版本,写信告诉我们,我们会回复你。
The short version
We ask for your email address. Everything else on the form is optional. We will never ask for your A-number, your case number, or anything about your immigration history — there is no place in our database to put them. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not work with USCIS or any government agency.
What we store
| What | Required? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | Yes | To email you when we launch |
| The language you think in | No | To decide which languages to build first |
| Which test you are taking | No | To build the right question set |
| When your interview is | No | To know how soon people need this |
| What worries you most | No | To decide what to build first |
| The site you came from | No | To know where people hear about us |
That is every field. There is no column for your name, phone number, address, A-number, USCIS case number, date of birth, country of birth, or immigration status. The promise is enforced by the database itself, not only by this page.
No tracking
No analytics. No advertising pixels. No third-party scripts. No fingerprinting. Our fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. The site's security policy physically blocks the browser from contacting any other company while you are here.
Cookies
One cookie, set only after you submit your email, so the optional questions on the next page can be attached to your signup. It holds a random reference and nothing readable. It lasts two hours. There is no cookie banner because a cookie you asked for by clicking the button does not need one. Details on the Cookies page.
Who can see it
The list is stored in a Supabase database in us-east-1 (North Virginia, United States) and the site runs on Vercel in the United States. Both are service providers who store data for us and may not use it for anything else. Oath is run from India, so your data is handled across borders under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for 30 days. We do not use them for anything except keeping the site running.
How long we keep it
Until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Every email we send will have a one-click unsubscribe.
Your rights
Email info@oathus.co and we will do any of these within 30 days: send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you.
Because your email address is the only thing that identifies you to us, a request sent from that address proves it is you. We will not ask you for documents.
If you are in California you have the right to know, delete, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you are covered by the GDPR or UK GDPR, our legal basis is your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, and you may complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This site is not for anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us an email address, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If we change anything important here we will email everyone on the list before it takes effect. Questions: info@oathus.co.
